About me
Nathan Prunty
I am a certified teacher, licensed to teach general elementary education, K-5, in the state of Ohio. I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and have extensive experience working with children. I've also taught ESL (English as a Second Language) for several years and am bilingual in Spanish/English.
****************************
I am looking for a part-time tutoring job for a little extra income and would like to tutor weeknights and/or weekends. I am flexible in working out payment that fits your family's needs. For example, if you have two children that are in need of tutoring, I'd be willing to negotiate a charge that works for both you and me. :)
****************************
I'd be happy to meet weekly or twice a week at the Columbus Main Library (downtown) or at another mutually convenient location on a date and at a time that would work for both of us!

Please email me with any questions, such as arranging a different location, inquiring about pricing, retrieving my phone number to discuss potential tutoring / homework help, etc.

Mr. Prunty worked with my son over the summer as he coordinated a Summer Youth Reading Program in our area. His instruction with the children was excellent and I admired his patience. My son loved reading with him and when he returned to school this fall his reading level had actually increased over the summer, for the first time ever. I would definitely recommend him for tutoring and hope that you are lucky enough for him to tutor your child!10/28/2014
Nathan Prunty is totally committed to working as an educator. He has an ability to create lessons suitable for limited English learners. I have worked with him in a classroom setting and will always be grateful for the time we spent together working with elementary and middle school ESL (English as a Second Language) students. The kids really connected and learning was made easy and fulfilling for all. As an educator, it is necessary to make positive connections with parents, as well as students; and I must add, this creates a valuable experience. Sincerely, Theresa Dearing, ESL teacher (Columbus City Schools)
