Joseph Bui

My name is Joseph and I am currently a student at Pratt Institute studying Communication Design. My background on babysitting stems from years and years of being left in charge of my younger cousins ages 2 through 12. Through this, I learned the fundamentals of creating a fun and safe environment. All throughout my time at Clements High school, I was heavily involved in volunteering with clubs like Red Cross, International Society, Earth Club, National Art Society and Rotary Interact- all which involved helping and entertaining children at festivals, middle schools and the Woman's Shelter. Since moving to Brooklyn, I have picked up two part-time jobs where I am directly involved with children. At a preschool, I am a teacher's assistant and help tutor, entertain, and take care of kids 2-7 years old. At a community center, I am in charge of enforcing an environment for kids ages 6-12 to get their homework done and stay disciplined until their parents arrive. Between being a full-time student and having two part-time jobs, I have developed a strong work ethics and skills that make me a dependable and responsible babysitter.
