Kimothy Wu

I am a digital artist from Pretoria, South Africa with the ultimate life goal of becoming a visual development animator at Walt Disney. I believe in living life meaningfully which is why along with my professional paid commissions, I donate all of my artwork to charity fundraising auctions. Organizations I have donated artwork to are Columbus International Program, Unique Ordinary, and BuckeyeSoup. I designed the cover art and 90-page program book for the annual Human Rights Campaign Columbus gala event in June 2016. In May 2017 I will be one of the top 100 featured artists participating in the 2017 Tokyo International Art Fair.

Besides my passion for art and design, I also enjoy writing and am proficient in journalism writing as well as creative writing. I was also majoring in Violin performance before switching my major to Public Relations. I have a deep love for animals and can often be found doing volunteer work in animal shelters, and advocate against the injustices of discrimination, environmental pollution, and children's education.
