    East Oakland Sports Center



    The Sports Center is part of the Complex located within the William “Bill” Patterson Park and includes state-ofthe-art Fitness, Aquatic and Dance Centers, as well as Ira Jinkins Recreation Center and Gymnasium, Tennis Courts, Baseball Diamond, and Tot Lot.

    The concept for the East Oakland Sports Center (EOSC) originated with a vision from Councilmember Reid to create a recreation complex and destination venue for the city of Oakland residents and visitors that is affordable, accessible and available.

    The 25,000 square foot East Oakland Sports Center offers a wide variety of year-round recreation programs emphasizing health, wellness and fitness that are available to all ages.

    About our parties

    • Take a ride on our Whitewater Slide ®, float around on an inner tube in our Lazy River, and the toddlers love the zero depth play area. Host a private gathering with tasty treats from our food vendors or bring your own. Choose either our Under the Sea themed Pool Party Room adjacent to the water park, or our Jump & Tumble Party in our Tiny Time Gym.
